The Gilbert G-TR4000 training rugby ball is designed to support players and teams as they develop the skills needed for match play. Suitable for group training sessions and technical drills, it helps players practise handling, passing and ball control. This hand-stitched ball features TRI grip technology. Its patented triangular grip pattern sets the surface apart from traditional training balls. According to tests carried out by Gilbert, this construction provides an increased contact surface when handling the ball, helping players maintain control during technical drills and game situations. The rubber surface complements the grip to provide a handling feel designed for regular training. It helps players work on their passing and direct the ball towards their teammates with greater confidence. The G-TR4000 is therefore a useful aid for repeating rugby fundamentals and preparing for different phases of a match. Intended for clubs, schools and junior or mini-rugby players, this training ball meets the needs of coaches organising drills focused on ball-handling skills. It supports individual sessions as well as team practice, helping players prepare for situations encountered on the pitch.
