Riding in the toughest conditions is part of life on two wheels. The GripGrab Aqua Shield High Cut road shoe covers are designed to give you protection and comfort on any road. Due to their highly water and wind resistant stretch fabric, these overshoes protect you from the mud and spray that gets thrown on the road. The outer seams have been sealed to ensure high water resistance. Meanwhile, the extra high cuff provides vital protection against front wheel spray bombardment and seals high on your calf to provide additional insulation and warmth. Inside the PU coated Lycra is a soft fleece material that not only feels good, but unlike latex, also prevents skin irritation. At the same time, it adds to the insulating properties of these aero shoe covers. Tip: Always wear the shoe covers directly on your skin to prevent water from running down your legs and into your shoes, especially when wearing long bibs or leggings. The fitted profile of these overshoes provides an aerodynamic advantage, smoothing out the airflow (and water flow!) Over your road cycling shoes. Reflective details on the back of the heels also improve visibility on the road. These may be marginal gains, but they are vital considerations for any road cyclist. If you are an all-weather cyclist, then these are the shoe covers for you. They're lightweight, comfortable, aerodynamic and highly protective - your shield in the battle against the elements. Important Information: Please follow the instructions carefully when fitting these overshoes to your cycling shoes. They have been specially designed to be worn with crampon systems for road shoes. Wearing them with MTB type shoes can irreparably damage the shoe cover.
