Crux 87315924A highly accessible touring ski, the Crux 87 is ideal for climbs with skins and descents on the piste. Weight and performance are its two priorities. Thanks to a light yet strong graphene and poplar wood core, the Crux 87 is ultra-manoeuverable on the ascent. On the descent, HEAD's LYT Tech sidewall construction guarantees control and stability in both short and long turns. This innovative TYROLIA product brings together the best features of touring skiing into a single product, starting with the toe piece which stands out with an ergonomic lever (which can be operated using a pole or by hand) and simplified boot entry. Thanks to an optimised, narrower open-pin position, correctly positioning the ski boot is child's play. The Almonte heel piece is a must-have with its extra-easy transition between walk and ski modes, not to mention its automatic brake where all locking parts are on the inside to prevent icing. Three climbing aid angles (0°/6.5°/12°) ensure a comfortable ascent. Using the included spacers, the boot-binding system can be fine-tuned to optimise energy transfer and push the limits of downhill performance. The Demo model stands out with an adjustment range of 100 mm (245-356 mm) thanks to the demo tracks under the toe and heel pieces. In addition, a barcode holder can be purchased as a spare part. Following the motto "Explore new paths", a new approach to material use has also been adopted to ensure that almost all plastic parts of the binding are made from renewable raw materials.
