About this breastplate
Characteristic of the Aosta is its long and wide anatomical chest piece. This part is lined and padded with supple leather. The sides of the breastplate are also lined and have soft leather padding. This ensures that the parts that come into contact with the horse are comfortably finished.
The elastic inserts yield during movement and contribute to wearing comfort. In combination with full adjustability, you can carefully adapt the breastplate to the horse's build and the equipment used. Correct adjustment remains important: the breastplate must fit well without being unnecessarily tightened or impeding movement.
The HFI Aosta breastplate is equipped with an adjustable martingale fork. This is attached with a snap hook and can therefore be easily removed if you want to ride without a martingale fork. Attachment to the girth is done with a loop.
In terms of appearance, HFI opts for a classic finish. The cream-colored stitching creates a subtle contrast with the leather, and the square buckles are made of stainless steel. The breastplate is available in both black and brown, so you can match it to the color of your saddle and bridle.
The HFI Aosta is available in Cob and Full. This model is particularly interesting if you are specifically looking for an anatomical breastplate with a long and wide, soft-padded chest piece.
