The MAXXIS High Roller III tire is the latest evolution of the legendary High Roller, designed to excel in demanding mountain biking conditions, particularly in Enduro and Downhill (DH). It features an aggressive tread pattern that ensures excellent grip and reliability on a variety of terrains.
3C Maxx Grip: This is the softest rubber compound in Maxxis' 3C technology. It utilizes three different rubber compounds, prioritizing ultimate grip and slow rebound for exceptional traction and control, especially on descents and in wet or technical conditions.
Tubeless Ready (TR): The tire is designed to be mounted tubeless using sealant. This allows for lower tire pressures, improves comfort and traction, and significantly reduces the risk of pinch flats.
Double Down (DD): This technology features a 120 TPI double-ply casing reinforced by a butyl insert in the heel. It offers a level of protection and durability similar to a downhill casing, but with reduced weight, making it ideal for intensive enduro riding.
Strengths and Performance The MAXXIS HIGH ROLLER III excels in conditions where grip is critical:
All-Terrain Grip: High performance on dry and loose tracks, dusty and steep trails, and in wet mud with roots and slippery rocks.
Increased Penetration: Better penetration into wet and loose soil for superior traction.
Mud Shedding: Improved mud shedding capacity, ensuring the knobs remain effective.
Cornering: Greater confidence in cornering in loose conditions.
Optimal Braking: Offers better control and improved braking power.
