TX Guide Leather is the leather version of TX Guide, the most technical shoe in the La Sportiva TX Series. A perfect combination of split leather, suede for greater adaptability, and nubuck for abrasion resistance. Designed for technical approaches and climbing. Created for alpine guides and mountain operators seeking a high-performing and durable product with a climbing look and feel. Versatile, lightweight, and protective, it is perfect for running and climbing approaches with technical solutions and aesthetic features reminiscent of climbing shoes: asymmetrical and advanced lacing, anti-friction eyelets on the toe, and tongue overlap for maximum foot wrapping. The Adaptable Fit enveloping shape allows for optimal performance and excellent adaptability to all foot types thanks to the elasticity of the leather. Very stable at the toe, it allows edge holding while climbing. The climbing-inspired protective edge is made with lightweight PU-TECH Lite material. The sole/midsole is composed of dual EVA foam with shock-absorbing compression at the heel and stabilization at the forefoot. The front part of the midsole is co-molded with a TPU layer that acts as a stabilizer for the climbing zone, medial upper, and stone guard layer at the forefoot. The dual compound Vibram MegaGrip and Idrogrip sole is the perfect combination of grip and durability while the pronounced heel facilitates braking on descents and offers better grip on ascents. TX Guide Leather: be your guide. Upper: Nubuck + water-repellent leather. Lining: Breathable and non-slip mesh. Insole: Ortholite Approach. Midsole: Dual compression EVA + TPU. Outsole: Dual compound MegaGrip and IdroGrip + climbing zone at the toe + Impact Brake System lugs at the rear.
