Resistance and flywheelThe iscooter DC001A exercise bike combines magnetic resistance with a 5 kg flywheel. These are the resistance system and actual flywheel weight listed in the product information. Select an effort appropriate to your session and begin at an easy pace while becoming familiar with the bike. Increase effort progressively according to your ability, and reduce the pace before ending the session. The specification does not provide a number of resistance levels or a flywheel weight above 5 kg.Adjustable riding positionThe handlebar has 5 adjustment positions and the seat has 7 positions, as listed for the iscooter DC001A. These settings let the user adjust the riding position within the available range. Set the seat and handlebar before starting, then secure the adjustments as described in the manual. Check that the position allows comfortable access to the handlebar and pedals. Stop pedalling before changing a setting, and check the adjustment fasteners regularly rather than changing them during the workout.Workout informationThe electronic console on the iscooter DC001A displays speed, elapsed time, distance and calories. These readings provide a way to follow the current workout without adding functions that are not listed for this model. Choose the information you need for the session and check it without losing a stable riding position. Calorie readings are training estimates rather than individual medical measurements. Use the console according to the supplied instructions and check its operation before beginning a session.Seating and equipmentThe iscooter DC001A is supplied with an enlarged, soft seat, as stated in the product information. Adjust the seat position using the available settings before the workout, and check that it is secured. Seat preference depends on the rider and the duration of use, so start with a short session while checking the position. Keep clothing and loose items away from moving parts. Inspect the seat and its fixing points regularly, and use the care procedures specified for this model to maintain the supplied equipment.Maximum user weightThe maximum user weight listed for the iscooter DC001A is 100 kg, and the supplied height recommendation is below 1.9 m. Check both points when assessing the fit of the bike; the weight limit does not establish a specific riding position for every user. Set the machine on a stable, level surface with the clearance required by its instructions. Check its stability before each session and keep the surrounding area clear. Stay within the stated user-weight limit throughout use.SpecificationsBrand: iscooter Model: DC001A Colour: White and black Resistance system: Magnetic resistance Flywheel weight: 5 kg Handlebar positions: 5 Seat positions: 7 Maximum user weight: 100 kg Recommended user height: < 1.9 m
