The Diversion features a unique construction that combines the best elements of both molded and hard shell technologies. The molded part reduces weight, while the hard shell upper benefits from the sophisticated Active Matrix ventilation system and offers increased durability. MIPS adds an extra layer inside your helmet. In a MIPS helmet, the shell and liner are separated by a low-friction layer, allowing the helmet to slide relative to the head during an oblique impact. The outer shell absorbs the primary impact.
