Built for the long haul, the K2 Waive snowboard boot is designed for those long days on the skin track. We have packed the Waive with the best split-specific features – and that starts at the sole. Our vibration-damping Harshmellow™ material is wrapped in a full Vibram® V5 outsole – durable, lightweight and grippy. A crampon-compatible heel stabiliser helps keep your heel aligned during the ascent and provides extra security on the descent. We have modified our Endo™ Construction heel counter to allow the K2 Waive snowboard boot to have a designated walk mode. By releasing the BOA® dial, this will allow the boot's calf panel to open, giving you the option of a longer stride in the skin track but all the stability in the world that you need for the descent. Traditional lacing, an external Power Strap and a lace cover keep you secure and keep the snow out. It goes without saying, but the magic starts from the inside; our Intuition® Pro Foam liner with Spaceheater™ is warm, comfortable and heat-mouldable. A comfortable and customisable Conda™ heel retention system keeps your foot position comfortable and eliminates the stress of heel lift when the terrain gets a bit spicy.
