Völkl's Smart Glue skins are precut and ready to use straight out of the box. Thanks to a new adhesive that is easier to handle, they are much simpler to use when transitioning from climbing to downhill mode. The Smart Ski Clip system allows the skier to remove the skin from either the tip or the tail. A standard clip located at the tail of the ski allows the skin to be attached and detached from the back. The skin can also be fitted or removed quickly and easily from the tip. This new versatility is made possible by an elasticated clip, which remains easy to grip even when wearing gloves. A slight recess in the tip guides the clip laterally and prevents it from accidentally releasing the skin during the ascent.
