→ The KHE spoke offers uncompromising lightness; weighing just 108 g, it results in very low rotating mass. You can save a significant amount of weight with these spokes. When the wheel turns, its mass creates a moment of inertia and therefore possesses angular momentum. According to the law of conservation of angular momentum, the wheel ‘resists’ changes in direction (an effect that occurs when a rotating wheel is moved). By reducing the weight, this effect can be minimised, making the wheel easier to manoeuvre. A standard 20-inch inner tube weighs around 250 g, whereas the Twiggy weighs only half that. Our lightweight Twiggy PLUS inner tube is therefore highly recommended for BMX bikes!
