When we introduced the PASSPORT - the feedback from our team riders, our retail partners, and the conversations we had in lift lines (What's up, Alpental and Brighton locals?!) - we knew we had a winner. The waist width, sidecut, camber profile, and taper were perfect - but some riders we spoke to were looking for something a bit more robust to go faster and tackle steeper terrain, and we said... let's build some prototypes. We did, they were okay, so we made some more, then even more, and they were incredible. The result of the third round of prototypes... the COMMONWEALTH - using the same shape and geometry that made the Passport a success, with a more beefed-up feature package for riders looking for something a bit more demanding. Our A1 Core is wrapped in a heavier tri-axial fibreglass, itself laminated in our patented Spectral Braid™ - a technology we developed that allows you to fine-tune the board's nose-to-tail flex independently of the torsional flex - it's great, we promise. We topped it off with a wax-infused 4001 sintered base to keep you from getting stuck on the flats. We believe everyone should be able to experience the mountains - so the Commonwealth was designed and tested with that in mind. Available from 146 up to 163, the construction, waist width, and flex profile of this board are calibrated to meet the needs of riders for each size.
