The K2 Hanford snowboard boot is directly inspired by the number one boot on the market, adding its own unique touch. It all starts with the This Grips!™ outsole, made of two rubber densities strategically placed to offer optimal grip, whether in the car park or when hiking. The full EVA midsole is combined with Harshmellow™ technology, a dampening material that reduces vibrations and softens the hardest landings. Fewer impacts mean more comfort and a fresh feel all day long. Inside, the multi-density Control Foam liner uses Intuition® thermoformable foam, renowned for its lightweight feel, durability, warmth, and exceptional shape memory — it adapts perfectly to the shape of the foot and retains its form. This liner is held in place by a three-point harness that stabilises the ankle and limits heel lift for optimal board control. The patented Endo™ construction makes the boot extremely lightweight. By replacing the classic heel counter with an injected polymer material, K2 can adjust the flexibility and rebound of the Hanford without adding weight. This technology also allows the boot to retain its flex over time while enhancing its durability. Finally, the dual-zone BOA® Fit System allows the top and bottom of the boot to be adjusted separately, offering a customised and precise fit for all foot shapes. To top it all off, a protective cover shields the laces to protect them from contact with the board's edge and external wear and tear.
