The Medium by Jake Kuzyk, completely redesigned for modern freestyle snowboarding. K2 Snowboarding pro rider Jake Kuzyk is loyal to the classics... a classic, round, twin shape, symmetrical at the nose and tail, a classic camber profile (mostly), and a predictable flex profile. Working with Jake Kuzyk and Kennedi Deck, we focused on creating a tool with a comprehensive size range, a uniform flex profile and a clean design aesthetic. The Medium starts at 147cm and goes up to 158Wcm. A pronounced sidecut between the feet and a smooth transition zone at the nose and tail make The Medium more stable than in the past (wider waist width, yes!), while remaining nimble for low-speed manoeuvres in the streets. We worked alongside Jake to design our new Carbon Backbone™, a pre-curved carbon stringer running from nose to tail, giving Jake all the pop he needs without any unnecessary stiffness.
