Designed to go the distance, the K2 Waive snowboard boot is built for those long days on the skin track. We have packed the Waive with the best splitboard-specific features – and it all starts with the sole. Our Harshmellow™ vibration-damping material is wrapped in a full Vibram® V5 outsole – durable, lightweight and grippy. A crampon-compatible heel stabiliser helps keep your heel aligned on the ascent and provides extra security on the descent. We have modified our Endo™ Construction heel counter to give the K2 Waive snowboard boot a dedicated walk mode. By loosening the BOA® dial, the boot's calf panel is allowed to open up, giving you the ability to lengthen your stride on the skin track while maintaining all the necessary stability for the descent. Traditional lacing, an external Power Strap and a lace cover keep you secure and prevent snow from getting in. It goes without saying, but the magic starts on the inside: our Intuition™ Pro Foam 3D Liner with Spaceheater™ is warm, comfortable and heat-mouldable. A comfortable and customisable Conda™ heel retention system ensures a comfortable foot position and eliminates heel lift when the terrain gets a bit technical.
