MET Manta Mips Aero Helmet Glossy Matte Black
The all new MET Manta Mips is a prime example of MET's aesthetic and contemporary design
Sold and shipped by Bikexperience
The all-new Manta Mips is a helmet that defines the aesthetic MET and its highly contemporary design. It's as bright as the original, but with a sharper look, it makes a statement at the forefront. The MET Manta Mips is more aerodynamic than its predecessor thanks to a lowered tube-shaped tail, developed specifically in the wind tunnel at NEWTON's Milan laboratory. Using the MIPS-C2® Rational Impact Management System, the MET Manta Mips is able to slide relative to the head in the event of an impact, redirecting harmful rotational forces. MIPS is a brain protection system designed to add protection to conventional helmet construction in certain types of impacts. The MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) is attached to the inside of the helmet, between the comfort foams and the EPS.The Fidlock® magnetic buckle makes it easier and faster to fermeture the helmet, effectively reducing transition times in Triathlon. While primarily an aerodynamic helmet, the MET Manta MIPS is nonetheless well ventilated. We designed the internal channels to channel the air. The signature NACA venting at MET works in synergy with the specially positioned vents to ensure a constant flow of air through the helmet without creating turbulence and drag.It has two ports for storing sunglasses. In addition to its performance, the MET Manta Mips is also exceptionally comfortable. The 360-degree headband ensures no pressure points on the skull and the internal shape is inspired by the renowned MET Trenta 3K Carbon.metIn-mold polycarbonate shell with EPSS capMIPS C2® rotational force management system designed to add protection in the event of certain impactsExceptionally comfortable and stable on the head thanks to a refined internal shapeRetention system MET Safe-T Orbital360° headband, vertical and occipital adjustment for optimal fitAir Lite straps with adjustable dividers to maximize aerodynamics and comfortMagnetic Fidlock® buckle for easy helmet closureHand-washable foam 15 air vents, internal channels designed to improve ventilation and comfortReflective rear decals for increased visibility in low light conditions Sunglasses storage ports for climbing or taking a breakTube-shaped tail to improve aerodynamicsRear reflector to ensure constant airflow on the bikeFlexible helmet bag included
