With more than 21 m² of living space and a comfortable 200 cm standing height, this extra-large tent is made for memorable camping trips with bigger families and groups of up to 8 people who like plenty of room to move. Thanks to the special silver coating on the outer tent around the sleeping cabins, the Montana 8 is a great choice when you want flexible space, proper privacy, comfort and calmer nights – whether you’re on the coast or in the countryside.
Straight-wall design The skandika Montana 8 offers excellent freedom of movement, and the almost vertical side walls mean you can really use the full floor area. It’s ideal for family holidays, bank holiday weekends with friends or longer stays on a campsite.
Protected sleeping cabins Each sleeping cabin comes with a sewn-in groundsheet to help keep out damp and dirt. Mosquito nets on the doors of the cabins keep insects at bay, so you can relax and drift off without unwanted visitors buzzing around.
Large family tent With over 21 m² of space and a generous 200 cm standing height, this spacious tent gives larger families and groups of up to 8 people room to stretch out, store gear and still move around comfortably – even on rainy days when everyone is inside.
Large doors with sun canopy Using the two supplied upright poles, one of the entrances can be turned into a shade-giving sun canopy. Front or back – wherever the sun is, you can quickly create a sheltered outdoor spot for breakfast, relaxing with a book or keeping the kids out of the midday sun.
Stable and weatherproof A robust mix of steel and fibreglass poles keeps the tent steady even when the wind picks up. The outer tent’s PU-coated fabric with a 5,000 mm hydrostatic head, together with carefully taped seams, offers reliable protection in bad weather and helps keep the interior dry when the rain sets in.
Smart windows Small plastic windows are positioned low down on the outer tent to bring more daylight into the sleeping areas, right where the cabins have practical half-moon zip openings. This makes the cabins feel brighter during the day without sacrificing weather protection.
Privacy Two dark sleeping cabins for 2 people each and one larger cabin with an optional divider for up to 4 people sit at opposite ends of the generous living area. This layout gives families and groups a good balance of shared space and personal space, so everyone can enjoy a bit of privacy.
Great ventilation Multiple permanent vents, protected from the outside, keep fresh air flowing through the tent. Even with the doors closed, this helps maintain a pleasant indoor climate and reduces condensation, so the tent feels fresher overnight and in the morning.
Practical extras Organiser pockets help keep small items like phones, torches and toiletries close to hand and off the floor, while the ceiling hook for a camping lamp is perfect for lighting up the living area in the evening. Guy lines, pegs, the tent floor, pitching instructions, a repair kit and a large carry bag are all included, so you’re ready to head off as soon as it arrives.
