Aequilibrium ST GTX is the ideal lightweight technical hiking shoe for via ferratas, trekking, glacier crossings, and mixed terrain. Maximum comfort thanks to the integrated bellows tongue and flexible snow gaiter around the collar. Exceptional walking ability is achieved with the innovative Double Heell™ heel construction: the highly pronounced dual rear lugs increase braking effectiveness when descending and provide a smoother roll to reduce muscle fatigue. Durability and lightness unite in this new outsole/midsole setup with an external Rubber Guard™ shell and internal foam for enhanced lightweight cushioning through minimal use of rubber layers. The ergonomic, snug, and precise fit incorporates TPU shells at the toe and heel to reinforce the upper. The directional connection 3D Flex System Evo™ with a contoured ankle and anti-abrasion protection offers better support control and perfect ankle mobility. The protective lace gaiter at the toe prevents chafing. The midsole is semi-crampon-compatible, and the Vibram® SpringLug Tech outsole features Impact Brake System lugs for improved adaptability to hard rocky surfaces. Climbing in perfect harmony. Flexible snow gaiter Bellows tongue for maximum comfort Ergonomic, snug, and precise shape incorporating TPU shells at the toe and heel to reinforce the upper Directional connection 3D Flex System Evo™ with a contoured and protected ankle supported by anti-abrasion TPU layers for better support control and perfect ankle mobility Upper made from HoneyComb Guard™ fabric with mono-filament reinforcements and anti-abrasion TPU membrane for superior protection and lightness Lacing with hooks on the upper part and eyelets on the lower part, along with a lower anti-chafing gaiter for use with crampons Semi-crampon-compatible midsole, suitable for semi-automatic crampons in the presence of ice or snow
