EVA midsole to reduce weight and improve cushioning. Multi-layer heat-welded construction offers superior protection while minimizing thickness and weight. With a small TPU insert to protect against rubbing or splashing, these shoes are ultra-resistant to wear. Double fastening system combining Velcro strap and SLW3 tightening knob. This solution adjusts the pressure distribution on the instep, thus avoiding pinching and overheating during pedaling. This combined system works perfectly across the whole foot: the SLW3 knob tightens the shoe from mid instep to toe, while the Velcro strap concentrates on the upper part of the foot. Ripstop-reinforced upper and tongue for greater durability and wearability in all conditions. Thinly padded tongue for optimum comfort, even when you're putting on the miles. The rear part has been carefully designed to adapt to your heel while preventing the foot from slipping, ensuring a custom fit at all times. Weight: 440 gTECHNOLOGY: Fort Augustus Vibram outsole. The Vibram outsole with binding features ST LUG studs specially designed to guarantee traction and grip. Thanks to its special design, this outsole overcomes any challenge in any condition. The surface under the cleat guarantees optimum grip, whether you're on the bike or on foot, while the surface up to the heel is designed to guarantee all the traction you need. The lightweight EVA midsole has excellent vibration-absorbing properties. SLW3 tightening wheel. X-Dial's new SLW3 tightening knob is completely new. It enables instant micrometric adjustment. Thanks to this compact, ultra-lightweight and intuitive mechanism, a simple rotation of the knob is all that's needed for fast, precise adjustment. This side-mounted knob enables progressive release and convenient micrometric control even while pedaling.
