Designed for top open-water swimmers, the ORCA Apex Flex combines Yamamoto neoprene panels and a performance-focused construction to maximise flexibility, rotation and hydrodynamics. The suit uses 38-, 39-, 40- and ultra-flexible 44-cell neoprene: 38-cell on the front thighs and 39-cell on the shins for stability, 40-cell across the chest, back and underarms to aid lung expansion (VFIT), and 44-cell in the shoulders to deliver exceptional rotation and freedom of movement. A short inverted rear zip and Hydrolite panels improve shoulder mobility and speed up removal when you’re fatigued. The Core Lateral Stabiliser limits unwanted lower-body twisting to help maintain technique, while a laser-cut Ultimate Seal collar with inverted Velcro reduces skin abrasion. The 1/2/3/4mm thickness layout and highly flexible construction reduce effort per stroke, making this suit ideal for technical swimmers seeking minimal restriction and maximum speed.
Put the wetsuit on carefully, entering feet and legs first and working the suit up to the shoulders. Close the short inverted back zip before swimming and use the Hydrolite panels to help remove the suit after your session. Rinse thoroughly in fresh water after each use and allow to air dry away from direct sunlight and heat sources. |
