Compatible Thanks to its adjustable vehicle tunnel, the Pitea XL UP is compatible with most cars, SUVs, CUVs and minivans and connects directly to the open tailgate. Robust tension straps secure the tent to the vehicle in just a few steps and create a weatherproof seal between car and awning.
Freestanding Fancy heading off on a day tour and coming back to camp in the evening? No problem. The tunnel is made from extra robust material and can be closed up weather-tight. Loosen the straps, zip the tunnel closed and within minutes the awning becomes a fully freestanding tent that stays on your pitch until you return.
Spacious The name Pitea XL UP says it all. With a footprint of 515 x 300 cm, it offers a generous sleeping cabin for four people plus a large, weather-protected living area – all with a comfortable standing height of 200 cm so you can move around easily.
Weatherproof The Pitea XL UP takes rain and stronger winds in its stride. Strong fibreglass and steel poles, together with an outer tent boasting a 3,000 mm water column, provide reliable weather protection. The included bathtub-style groundsheet for the living area helps keep the interior dry and clean.
Light and airy Three entrances in the living area give you plenty of options for light, views and ventilation. With the four supplied poles, two of the doors at a time can be turned into a practical sun canopy whenever you need shade. When the weather turns, all entrances can be fully closed and are waterproof.
Luxury cabin The luxury inner cabin has a mesh door and a sewn-in groundsheet to keep insects out, and at 280 x 215 cm there is plenty of space for four people to sleep comfortably. A fully closable rear door in the cabin gives direct access to the tunnel and your car.
Practical Thoughtful details make life easier outdoors: a hook for a camping lamp, organiser pockets for smaller items and blinds for the triangular windows so you can darken the tent at night or for an afternoon rest. Everything is designed to keep your space tidy, cosy and functional.
