In BMX Racing, every detail matters. From the first pedal stroke to the finish line, power, precision, and reliability make the difference between victory and defeat. The Pride Newton SX crankset has been designed with one goal in mind: to maximize performance without compromise. Developed with advanced engineering and tailored for elite riders' demands, this crankset is the perfect blend of strength, efficiency, and innovation. Designed for those who push their limits, the Newton SX offers the responsiveness and durability needed to dominate the track. The Newton SX crankset is the result of finite element analysis (FEA), a cutting-edge engineering process that simulates real forces and stress distribution to refine every aspect of the design. This ensures unmatched performance in BMX Racing, where every watt of power counts. Minimize unnecessary weight while maintaining extreme rigidity. Reduce lateral flex for a more efficient and responsive pedaling experience. Ensure impact resistance in the most demanding BMX conditions. The result? A crankset that maximizes energy output, reduces flex, and delivers explosive performance from the starting gate to the finish line. The Newton SX is forged from a high-performance 7075 aluminium alloy, ensuring exceptional strength and rigidity, far beyond what conventional cranksets offer. Increased rigidity for better power transfer, less flex means more energy is converted into forward motion. Improved durability and impact resistance, designed to withstand high-intensity races and extreme landings. Optimisation of production stability, our honeycomb design ensures consistent wall thickness, superior strength, and improved accuracy during manufacturing. Unlike hollow forged cranksets, which may hide internal weaknesses, the honeycomb forging process offers better control over thickness and structural integrity, making the Newton SX more reliable and stable over time. The Newton SX features an integrated chainring bolt system, eliminating the need for separate bolts and combining simplicity with rigidity. Quick and easy chainring changes thanks to the integrated bolt system. No more hassle choosing bolt lengths, Increased rigidity - The integrated design reduces weak points, making the entire drivetrain stiffer, ensuring better power transfer and greater longevity. The Newton SX is designed with a Q-factor of 168 mm, the optimal position for BMX Racing. Perfect position for maximum power output and stability. Optimised pedalling position for smoother and stronger acceleration. With a Q Factor of 168 mm, it provides the ideal width for BMX riders, balancing stability and efficiency with every pedal stroke. Weighing just 738g in 175 mm, the Newton SX is among the lightest BMX cranksets on the market. Crankarms: 7075 aluminium - forged then machined Spindle: 24mm - heat-treated Crmo Compatibility: BB86 - BSA 68/73mm Chainline: 43.5mm Q-Factor: 168mm Chainring bolt circle diameter (BCD): 104mm Mounting points: 4 points Weight: 738g (175mm)
