Plastimo collapsible radar reflector - Size 300 x 300 x 415 mm As most pleasure boats are made of GRP or wood, there are not enough surfaces to ensure visibility on the radar of larger boats. This can be particularly dangerous in poor visibility conditions such as fog. A radar reflector solves this problem by generating a signal on radar screens through its numerous, right-angled aluminium surfaces. The collapsible Plastimo radar reflector creates a reflective surface of up to 5 m². Radar reflectors are recommended to ensure safety in bad weather conditions. They can be mounted either on the backstay or masthead.
