The Salewa Alp Trainer 2 hiking shoe is a low-cut mountain hiking and trekking shoe that provides complete comfort on long mountain days. The durable yet comfortable premium suede leather upper is reinforced with a full 360° rubber rand for added protection from rocks. The Vibram Alpine Hiking outsole offers enhanced performance and control across a wide range of mountain terrain, and also excels in wet and muddy conditions thanks to dedicated climbing, traction, and braking zones and an aggressive lug pattern. Our proprietary 3F system enables a precise, supportive, and hugging fit. A steel cable provides strong ankle support and lateral stability, while Climbing Lacing allows for adjustment all the way to the toe, ensuring better performance on the rock. The EVA midsole provides excellent cushioning and excellent comfort in a technical shoe.
