The skandika Selka Quick-Start beach shelter is an ultra-light beach tent with a practical roof shape and innovative Quick-Start system that can be set up in seconds – with no fiddly pole assembly. With a footprint of 210 × 148 cm, a comfortable height of 120 cm and a net weight of just 2.4 kg, it’s especially light and compact. Selka comfortably fits two people and is the ideal companion for relaxed days at the beach or by the lake.
Quick-Start system The standout feature of Selka is the clever Quick-Start system, which makes pitching and packing away incredibly easy. The poles are permanently attached to the shelter and almost guide themselves into the right position.
Practical roof shape The roof design not only gives Selka a timeless, attractive look, it also offers practical advantages: the sloping side walls deflect the wind and contribute to a stable, secure structure.
High UV protection Selka offers an exceptionally high UV protection factor of 80+, blocking over 98% of harmful UV rays and providing effective sun protection on hot summer days.
Silver coating The special silver coating on the 68D-190T polyester outer material reflects not only UV rays but also heat, creating a pleasantly cool, shaded retreat inside.
Plenty of space The 120 cm height provides enough headroom for comfortable sitting, even for taller people. The generous floor space offers ample room for towels, bags and snacks.
Mesh windows Large windows made from fine mesh fabric allow good airflow and help prevent heat build-up. The windows can be covered easily whenever you want more privacy or extra protection from the wind.
Reliable protection A water column of 800 mm shields Selka from splashes, while the sewn-in groundsheet made from robust plastic keeps the inside of the beach shelter pleasantly clean and dry.
Lightweight and compact Weighing only 2.4 kg, the Selka beach shelter comes in a sturdy carry bag, fits easily into any car boot and can be carried to the beach without effort.
Ready for any outing Whether it’s a day at the seaside, a picnic by the lake or a relaxing afternoon in the park, Selka is ready in no time and a great choice for anyone who wants to enjoy the sun and sand in comfort.
