The cassette is specifically designed for 1x11 drivetrains with Shimano HyperGlide (HG) freehub bodies. It is particularly suitable for rear MTB All Mountain setups that require a wide gear range for steep climbs and fast descents.
The sprockets are steel for increased wear resistance, mounted on an aluminium spider to reduce weight while maintaining the stiffness needed for reliable shifting.
The 11–51T progression offers close ratios on the small sprockets and very easy gears on the large sprockets, allowing effortless climbing and good cadence maintenance on varied terrain. The HyperGlide tooth geometry facilitates climbing and downshifting under load.
Approximate weight: 550 g (for the 11–51T version). Fits HG freehub bodies. Designed to deliver a good balance of performance, durability and lightness for demanding MTB use.
