Raiva is not just a word. It's what many feel at the start: frustration, impatience, the desire to 'come out on top'. Then grappling does its job. It forces you to stay clear-headed. To turn tension into precision. This captures the spirit of the phrase we hold at the heart of the collection: 'A raiva me levou ao Grappling, mas o amor me fez ficar.' Rage brought me to grappling, but love made me stay. On these shorts, everything is designed for real use. First, zero velcro: nothing that scratches, nothing that catches, nothing that damages the rest of your gear. Then, an elastic waistband that stays in place without cutting off your breathing when you bend, push, or breathe hard. The cut above the knees and side slits do the rest: you can shoot, get on your hips, scramble out, without feeling the shorts holding you back. And because it's often the crotch that takes the most strain when it twists, we've added a piece of elastane in the crotch: more ease, more fluidity, and real comfort when you change direction mid-exchange. No unnecessary details: no pockets, to stay clean, safe, and 100% combat-oriented. These are shorts made for No-Gi, but especially for those who train seriously - and who want a consistent Raiva outfit from head to toe. What’s the difference with a classic velcro fightshort? Here, there’s no velcro: less irritation, less catching, and more comfort, especially during long sessions. What is the elastane piece in the crotch for? It provides a real gain in ease: more freedom in the hips, more comfort in scramble, and less tension when it pulls in the corners. Are these shorts suitable for MMA as well? Yes, for training (depending on your club's rules). The cut above the knees, the slits, and the absence of pockets are ideal for 'no-gi' practices. How does the sizing of the shorts work? Take your usual size. If you're between two sizes or prefer more ease around the thighs, choose the bigger size.
