Impact protection Skiing is classified as a high-risk sport, which means that maximum protection is required when practising it. The helmet offers impact protection, which increases the user's safety on the slopes.
Active ventilation The active ventilation system allows for individual control of the airflow, tailored to your current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be wicked away without exposing you to excessive cooling.
Ergonomic shape The ergonomic shape ensures high comfort while skiing. This helmet design allows for an unobstructed airflow, which also improves ventilation inside the shell.
EN 1077 certification This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has successfully passed collision and puncture tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second part checks the strength of the shell during point impacts, e.g. with a ski pole.
Buckle fastening The chinstrap features a classic buckle fastening. It is simple to use, although fastening and unfastening it can be problematic when wearing winter gloves. It is suitable for helmets designed for slightly older children.
Soft ear pads Soft ear pads refer to a helmet design where the ear pads are not covered by the helmet shell. They are exceptionally soft and protect the ears from the cold, without interfering with hearing. However, they do not provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.
Polystyrene (EPS) inner shell Beneath the impact-resistant outer shell lies an inner layer of polystyrene. It has varying densities, and its main task is to absorb the force of an impact during an accident. It provides a good level of safety.
In-mould construction This construction mainly combines different types of in-mould foam of varying hardness. These layers are closely bonded to the outer layer of material, which is much harder. This design makes the helmet exceptionally lightweight.
Size adjustment via dial A classic adjustment system that allows for a precise fit of the helmet to the head circumference. Using the rotary dial, you can easily and quickly increase or decrease the helmet size within a range of several sizes. A properly fitted helmet increases safety while riding.
ASTM F2040 certification This is an American safety standard, which is more stringent than the European CE 1077 ECC standard. The test involves dropping the helmet onto three types of impact anvils at different speeds. However, puncture tests and chinstrap tests are omitted. A helmet with this certification ensures safety during a collision.
