The Smith Rodeo MIPS matte serpentine ski helmet integrates advanced head protection with thoughtful solutions to ensure comfort and practicality on the slopes. The design features innovative Mips® technology, which effectively minimises the effects of rotational forces during an impact.
Mips® technology for enhanced safety The Mips® technology used in the Smith E00553 model is responsible for effective protection against rotational forces that can occur during falls on the slopes. This advanced technology absorbs the energy transmitted to the brain, significantly increasing the user's safety level. The helmet meets the rigorous safety standards ASTM F 2040 and EN 1077:2007 CLASS B.
resource-conscious shell and comfort of use The synthetic polymer (ABS) shell of the helmet is made from 30% recycled materials, making it an environmentally responsible choice. Soft ear pads and a dial-fit size adjustment system guarantee a tailored fit and all-day wearing comfort. Efficient ventilation is provided by specially designed vents, maintaining an optimal microclimate under the shell.
Functional details and practical extras The helmet is equipped with a buckle closure, which allows for quick and secure fastening on the head. The model comes with a dedicated bag, facilitating transport and storage. The Smith Rodeo MIPS design does not feature a visor, which increases versatility when paired with various ski goggle models.
