True counters are always looking for a cutting edge advantage: it is the tireless quest for lighter, stiffer, more efficient and more resistant equipment. In order to create the best possible transmission, we have reviewed and redesigned the design of our pedals. Our brand new XX1 Eagle CARBON TUNED crankset is the lightest, stiffest and most efficient of our current range. DUB technology further strengthens all of this by simplifying the link from the axle to the bottom bracket and redefines the term resistance. The pedals with DUB technology guarantee simplicity, compatibility and resistance. The Sram EAGLE chainring offers new X-SYNC 2 technology for significantly quieter performance, with better mud evacuation and an extraordinary long life, compatible with a 12 or 11 speed transmission. DUB Technology has a better bottom bracket and a new axle design. Together, they ensure a more uniform approach to mounting the bottom bracket, better sealing against impurities and define a new measurement of resistance. Details: DUB technology (28.99mm axle) Hollow carbon crank (Carbon Tuned) CNC Eagle SL aluminum chainring Boost Direct Mount X-Sync 2 chainring Chain line: 52 mm Manufacturer's weight with chainring: 422g (32 teeth) Without case Reference: 00.6118.573.003 / SRAM Crankset XX1 Eagle Boost 148 DUB 12s 170 w Direct Mount 34T X-SYNC 2 Chainring Gray (DUB Cups / Bearings not included) C2 00.6118.573.002 / SRAM Crankset XX1 Eagle Boost 148 DUB 12s 175 w Direct Mount 34T X-SYNC 2 Chainring Gray (DUB Cups / Bearings not included) C2 Technology: DUB technology The interface between the axle and the bearings is at the center of dub technology. Rigidity is associated with longevity. We go beyond the ideas received and simplify things, by integrating the interaction between chainring, crankset, axis and crankcase. With this approach we create better transmission. DUB technology The interface between the axle and the bearings is at the center of dub technology. Rigidity is associated with longevity. CARBON TUNED The strength and stiffness where you need it, the light weight the way you like it. SRAM's exclusive carbon overlay technology increases thickness and stiffness in critical stress areas. The architecture of thinned carbon layers guarantees optimal weight gain without compromising strength. X-Sync 2 X-SYNC 2 EAGLE is the new evolution of SRAM X-SYNC technology. The aggressive design of the teeth provides better chain retention for smoother and more efficient pedaling. By emphasizing an even longer life, the X-SYNC EAGLE design reduces friction and the accumulation of mud, gravel and dirt.
