104 BCD 2x Chainring Spider - BOOST
This chainring spider is an essential component designed to adapt your crankset for double chainring (2x) setups on modern BOOST standard frames.
Key Features: Mounting Format (BCD): The 104 BCD (Bolt Circle Diameter) standard is one of the most common, offering broad compatibility with a wide selection of double (2x) chainrings available on the market.
2x Configuration: Designed specifically for use with two chainrings (small and large), it is ideal for riders who prioritize a wide range of gearing options and precise shifting for mountain biking, trail riding, or enduro.
BOOST Standard: The spider is optimized for BOOST standard frames and hubs (148mm rear axle). This standard shifts the chainline outwards to ensure perfect drivetrain alignment on BOOST-compatible bikes, improving shifting smoothness, durability, and performance.
Benefits:
Wide Compatibility: Allows the use of 104 BCD chainrings, known for their availability and robustness.
Stiffness: Typically made from CNC-machined aluminum, it provides excellent structural rigidity, ensuring efficient and precise power transfer during intense pedaling.
Optimized Chainline: Ensures proper chainline alignment for BOOST frames, reducing premature chain and cassette wear.
