Perhaps the most important piece on race day, so it’s time to take your swimming goggles seriously, and really understand what matters. Wouldn't it be wonderful if most triathlons started in the middle of the day when the sun is high in the sky? Unfortunately, most races begin early in the morning between 7 and 9 o'clock, when the sun rises and its position quickly changes. (We all know that the position of the sun can change in less than 30 minutes after the start of a race). Features of the aqua photochromic swimming goggles HUUB Aphotic II: • Minimises sunlight, increases visibility and observation • Reduces glare, especially at the start of morning swims • Anti-fog, scratch-resistant and photochromic lenses • Reduces eye strain and visual fatigue “Aphotic” by HUUB, our first swimming goggles that become darker or lighter thanks to photochromatic technology during the race without you noticing. A self-regulating lens that provides the comfort and vision needed to maximise your sight and help your swim. “Photochromic” The clarity of vision helps you see and allows you to move around obstacles and other swimmers even when swimming into the sun or when your back is to the sun. These amazing lenses fit perfectly and take only 160 seconds to transition from clear to dark, offering ultimate performance for every buoy turn. Special patented photochromic dyes that activate or darken the lens when exposed to the sun's ultraviolet rays. When UV light decreases, the lenses fade. When lighting conditions change, the tint level adjusts, providing the right shade at the right time. Designed to fit perfectly to the face with a matching silicone and TPR density to create a snug fit and feather-like feel, even on the most interesting face profiles. Supplied in a zipped eyewear case. Seal material: Silicone Belt material: Silicone
