The completely renewed Mantra 84 W is aimed at sporty female skiers who prefer groomed pistes but cannot deny their affinity for freeride. Its 3D radius sidecut makes it easy and playful to turn both on and off-piste. The longer radii at the tail and tip allow for excellent manoeuvrability at high speeds and for wide turns. The features of the new Mantra 84 W also benefit from the innovative Völkl Tailored Carbon Tips: individual carbon fibres are embroidered onto a carrier material and precisely positioned along the stress lines. With the millimetre-precise alignment and thickness of the fibres, the skiing characteristics of the Mantra 84 W have been perfectly adjusted for superior stability, especially considering its low weight. That said, it can still be pushed very hard without requiring a lot of strength. The improved on-piste properties and the ability to venture off the groomed pistes from time to time make the ski even more appealing.
