Vulpine is the latest addition to WTB's popular range of gravel tires, specially designed for racing. Closely spaced center lugs form an almost unbroken center line to reduce rolling resistance, while the rest of the tread is covered with short lugs to further improve efficiency, minimize the risk of punctures and provide predictable traction in corners. Vulpine favors total efficiency without sacrificing traction when climbing or braking. It's the ideal tire for gravel racers looking to lead the pack, as well as everyday cyclists looking for an efficient tire that excels on many surfaces, including asphalt, hard ground and gravel. Product advantages Round profile: The overall stud profile mimics that of a high-volume road tire, offering equal confidence when cornering on a variety of different terrains and conditions. Efficient stud spacing: Closely spaced center lugs form an almost unbroken center line that reduces rolling resistance, while the rest of the tread is filled with short lugs to further promote efficiency and minimize punctures. Fast center line: Vulpine's smooth tread surface reduces rolling resistance and improves tread longevity, resulting in a longer life than other gravel tires. TCS Tubeless-Ready: TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) is WTB's standardized tubeless rim/tire system. TCS tubeless-ready tires eliminate the need for tubes, reduce weight and allow lower tire pressure for improved traction and comfort compared to a traditional tube tire. SG protection: WTB's SG tires are engineered from specially formulated materials to offer superior sidewall protection and better air retention in high-pressure tires. The extra layer protects the most exposed areas of the tire and improves air retention for high-pressure tires. Fast rolling compound: Specially designed to enhance rolling efficiency while providing reliable traction and durability. Light casing: A flexible, lightweight casing layer adapts to the terrain to deliver maximum performance, exceptional reliability and low rotational weight.
