Some competing mats are thicker yet much lighter, which can reduce durability: they mark more easily, deform, and may be less comfortable (greater compression and less shape recovery). In addition, many models are made from NBR or PVC, materials that can degrade faster. Our mat is made from TPE, and its double-layer construction increases durability—single-layer mats tear more easily.
