Repairable bag
We have developed solutions that enable you to repair it.
If you get a hole in your bag, you can repair it using the repair kit, available to order, code: 8647246.
If you break one of the plastic buckles, you can repair it with a 38 mm split buckle, available to order, code: 8788249.
If you break one of the back-strap adjustment buckles, you can repair it with a 25 mm tightening buckle, available to order, code: 8670303.
FASTENING SYSTEM
To ensure good water resistance:
1/Open the decompression valve to expel air when folding.
2/Carefully roll down the top of the bag 3 times, by tightening the folds across the thickness of the strap.
3/Close the central buckle
4/Close the side buckles
5/Close the decompression valve to ensure a watertight seal.
You can leave air in the bag. The bag should look inflated once closed: this makes it more waterproof and allows it to float if dropped in the water.
ATTACH YOUR BAG TO THE BOAT
On each side of the bag are loops with straps. This makes it possible to easily attach your bag on the boat to avoid it moving when harbouring.
The straps also make it possible to attach accessories to the bag.
PARTITIONING AND STORING
The inside of the bag is a light colour to bring brightness and for easily finding your belongings.
The bag includes several functions to organise your storing:
- A sideways and foldable divider in the centre of the bag to make 2 piles of clothes without them moving when being transported. This divider is also a pocket with a zip fastening: width 30Â cm, height 25Â cm
- 2Â side pockets with zip fastening: width 23Â cm, height 18Â cm.
BAG STRENGTH
Tear tests were carried out on the bag in a laboratory. These tests ensure that the seams, welds and fabric are strong and resistant to wear. The bag has been designed to accompany you for a long time during your adventures!
PRECAUTIONS FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Electronic devices are fragile and valuable. We recommend doubling up their protection by placing telephones inside waterproof pouches.
Ensure your bags are closed and check water resistance regularly using a paper towel.
PERSONALISATION OF THE BAG
Possibility to put your name (business card size) to avoid leaving with another team member’s bag, etc.
Possibility to personalise your bag by flocking a logo: enquire at the workshop of your nearest Decathlon store.
Do not embroider: this compromises the waterproof design of the bag.
WATERPROOFING
This bag is 100% waterproof thanks to the materials used. Plus, the structure of the bag is sealed to ensure no water gets in through the material or seams.
The roll top fastening system guarantees no water enters when it is done right.
The product meets the IP standard (protection index) X4. The IP X4 protection index means that the bag can withstand heavy rain and splashes, but that it cannot be submerged.
