OUR COMMITMENT TO CONSUME LESS WATER WITH THIS PRODUCT
We've improved this product through an eco-design procedure for the colouring processes for materials, using the "dope-dyed" technique.
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce our environmental impact, we use a mass pigmentation process that involves adding the colour pigments when the yarn itself is produced. We use this process for the following colours (ref: 8648382).

To make it easier, we recommend that 2 people pitch the tent, although 1 person can manage.
Sun protection
Our Fresh&Black technology relies on a UPF 50+ sun protection fabric.
Caution: be careful, a large amount of UV rays can get in through a simple open door.
Ventilation
The ventilated flysheet on the living room lets you ventilate and limit condensation inside your tent. Outside each bedroom is a high ventilation hatch. Inside each bedroom is a large, low ventilation hatch. The living room is fitted with a mosquito net and the bedrooms with high mosquito nets.
Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The goal is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity.
Properly pitched, with the guy ropes deployed, this tent remains habitable in wind speed 7, measured at 60 km/h.
Feel free to re-inflate your inflatable poles regularly during your stay at the campsite (7 Psi).
Waterproofing
We test our tents to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, the equivalent of tropical rain of 200 mm per hour. The second test is done in the field under real-life conditions by our teams. This tent is fitted with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet measuring 2,000 mm. It also has seams taped using heat-sealed strips and a 190 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet.
Fresh&Black technology for more coolness and darkness in your tent
Cooler and darker for better sleep!
Fresh & Black is a technology patented by Decathlon that allows us to reflect the sun's rays and insulate from the light thanks to specific materials.
This reduces the sensation of heat in the tent and makes it darker.
To get the most out of this technology, don't forget to ventilate your tent at night!
Repair
As designers and users who love nature, we care about the durability of our products. That's why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs for inflatable hoops are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on our website.
Poles and tent pegs
Inflatable poles - All our inflatable poles have a two-layer arch structure: a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) air chamber and a 600-denier polyester cover*.
Living room reinforcement - There's an aluminium bar in the living room to stiffen the structure.
Tent pegs - All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
4 ground pegs are included.
*600 denier indicates a weight of 600 g for 9 m length.
CARE ADVICE
Our camping tents have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) when camping or in the great outdoors. Continued exposure to UV rays over several weeks can damage the fabric. These products are not classified as “garden furniture” and aren’t designed to be left outdoors permanently. To guarantee maximum durability of your tent, it's important to store it when not in use.
