Usage temperature:
We display the "comfort temperatures" on all our sleeping bags, tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX) in compliance with European standard EN 13537 of 11/04/2002.
The comfort temperature is the lower limit at which a individual is in thermal equilibrium and feels neither too warm nor too cold in a relaxed pose (in normal conditions of use).
Choose your sleeping bag accordingly!
However, this is what you need to know about temperatures:
A sleeping bag does not produce heat but retains the heat produced by the body.
These temperatures therefore depend on the person's resistance to cold (body type, fatigue, etc.), equipment (mattress with ground insulation, etc.), clothing (naked, underwear, etc.) and weather conditions (humidity, wind, etc.).
If you are tired and cold and you slip inside a cold, damp sleeping bag, it is likely that you will feel cold no matter how good your sleeping bag is!
Specifics for kids:
Choose a sleeping bag that is adapted to your kid’s size.
The higher the volume of air to heat, the more energy the body will use to keep warm and the more risk there is it will get cold during the night.
Similarly, your child will lose most heat through their head.
In cold weather, you can put a hat on them.
Our environmental approach:
We aware that we need to act to preserve our natural playground and we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our products.
Using the bi-ton process inside this sleeping bag reduces our environmental impact.
By using just one yarn in every two, we reduce our water consumption and impact.
This is still not enough and that's why we are working to make this product 100% eco-designed in 2026.
Washing your sleeping bag
We recommend you use a washing machine with a minimum 7 kg capacity and close the zips on your sleeping bag.
Product design: our expertise
Our Quechua global design centre is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont-Blanc in Haute Savoie.
This location is a place where our teams (designers, product managers, engineers, etc.) can meet with outdoor sports enthusiasts.
A significant advantage for designing high-quality products and giving you access to all our expertise.
Where do our kids’ sleeping bags come from?
Created in our international design centre at the foot of Mont Blanc in France, this sleeping bag is then manufactured and assembled by our suppliers in China, Vietnam and Bangladesh.
We collaborate closely and with these partners who have real expertise in the manufacture of our sleeping bag.
Thanks to this relationship of trust with our industrial partners, we can create high-quality technical products.
Working conditions in our production workshops
We guarantee that our suppliers comply with our code of conduct. These suppliers are often located in developing countries where our presence helps to create jobs.
By conducting audits and having teams on site, we make sure that the working environment of the employees meets certain quality standards in terms of human respect, personal fulfilment and environmental protection.
