WHICH ATHLETES IS THIS FOR?
Maltodextrin powder is designed for all athletes (triathletes, marathon runners, trail runners, etc.) exercising for more than 3 hours. A 34 g dose of maltodextrin should be diluted in 500 ml of water. Maltodextrin must be consumed during the three days before your competition, at the rate of two bottles per day. With these six sticks, you’ll have everything you need to prepare your water bottles for a competition.

MALTODEXTRIN: WHAT IS IT? WHAT IS IT FOR?
Maltodextrin is the result of hydrolysis (breaking down) wheat or corn starch to make the molecules smaller and therefore easier to digest by the body.
- Before endurance exercise, maltodextrin helps increase your muscular glycogen reserves.
- During exercise, it is a quick source of energy and won't make you sick thanks to its low sugar intensity.
- After endurance exercise, it helps replenish your glucose stores.
A DE (Dextrose Equivalent) of 12 - ideal for endurance exercise
Maltodextrin is designed to help athletes prepare for endurance exercise lasting more than 3 hours: triathlons, marathons, trail runs, etc*. Thanks to its low DE value, our maltodextrin is ideal for building up sufficient glycogen reserves without having to gorge yourself on pasta.
*For workouts of under 2 hours, you won't need this, since your training, nutrition and everyday hydration will normally suffice.

This new version of maltodextrin powder has been developed thanks to YOU! You found our tropical fruit flavour too intense and this sweetened product was simply too sugary. "So, we took a natural lemon flavour, reduced it and removed the sweetener. This way, the two bottles you need to drink for three days go down well!", Explains Mathilde, a hydration product engineer.
TWO SUITABLE FORMATS

- For keen (tri)athletes, the 1kg pack is ideal as it contains enough to prepare for five competitions, at a rate of two bottles a day during the three days leading up to race day.
WHAT ABOUT DURING COMPETITIONS?
During competitions, there are ISO and ISO+ drinks that also contain maltodextrin:
• The ISO drink is suitable for workouts of under 3 hours. Therefore, we recommend using a dose of 30 g in 500 ml of water.
• ISO+ is suitable for workouts lasting 3 hours or more. We recommend that you ingest 60g of carbohydrates per hour of exercise, i.e. a dose of 38g of ISO+ to be dissolved in a 500ml bottle of water and topped up with a gel or bar.
