What sports can you do with the high-support invisible sports bra with padding?
The high support provided by this sports bra allows comfortable participation in high-impact activities such as HIIT, cardio circuits, body attack, horse riding, trampolining and more.
Why does the invisible high-support sports bra with padding facilitate movement?
For activities such as fitness or trampolining, it's important to be able to move freely as you like. And this freedom of movement is gained by choosing the right clothing. That's why we designed this sports bra with a racerback. The shoulder blades are freed up, making arm movements easier.
How does the invisible high-support sports bra with padding help to wick away perspiration?
You exert yourself during your workout sessions, and inevitably, you sweat. Because it's not necessarily pleasant to feel soaked during or after exercise, we've added a detail to this sports bra that improves perspiration wicking. The fabric is perforated at the back, allowing it to breathe better and stay dry for longer.
Why does the invisible high-support sports bra with padding have a back fastening system?
The three hooks in the back allow you to adjust the sports bra around the chest area. This maximises comfort during the workout.
Why is the invisible high-support sports bra with padding so discreet under clothing?
This sports bra features two slim and flexible foam cups offering optimal comfort, extra support and greater protection against shocks. This foam and the heat-sealed flat seams provide a smooth finish. This means the sports bra remains discreet under clothing.
Why is it essential to protect the breasts during physical activity?
During any physical activity, your breasts, which are fragile and mainly supported by the skin, are exposed to much greater stress than in everyday life. Regardless of your cup size or age, the movements and bounces they are subjected to during certain sports can weigh up to 5 times heavier. The sports bra provides the necessary support to protect the breasts from impact, pain and premature sagging.
How to choose between strong, medium or low support?
During exercise, the breasts are placed under tension, stretching the skin and chest ligaments. The lack of support increases the risk of pain and premature sagging. Conversely, excessive support can also have detrimental consequences. It is essential to adjust the level of support of your sports bra based on your cup size and the intensity of the impact experienced. The goal is to protect the chest without compromising natural breast movement.
How are the support levels of the Decathlon sports bra validated?
Our laboratories validate the models through a breast support test, measuring the reduction in the acceleration of breast movement during physical exercise. They are then classified into 3 levels:1 for light support, 3 for moderate support and 5 for strong support.
Which sports are suitable for each sports bra support level?
The sports bra should be adapted to the type of activity practised. Our range consists of 3 levels: - Level 1:light support for activities involving gentle chest movements (Pilates, stretching, muscle strengthening, etc.). - Level 3:moderate support for activities involving moderate bounce (dance, fitness, cardio-training, etc.). - Level 5 : strong support for activities with intensive movements (step, treadmill, trampoline, etc.).
How do you work out the size of your sports bra?
For the support and comfort of your breasts, you must choose a bra size adapted to your body shape. To do this, follow these simple steps: - Stand in front of a mirror. - Place the tape measure horizontally across your upper back, over the lower part of your shoulder blades. - Bring the tape over the fullest part of your chest. - Take the measurement without tightening. - Use our online calculator for optimal accuracy.
What principles are used to guide sports bra design at Decathlon?
Designed by our team of athletes, Decathlon sports bras aim to optimise comfort and prevent health problems. We avoid using underwiring to prevent injuries and compression of lymph nodes. We also minimize seams around the nipple area to reduce the risk of irritation. The use of moisture-wicking components ensures increased comfort while decreasing the chances of skin irritation.
