Design details

Seat comfort
The front and back seats are twice as high than the middle seat. This provides greater comfort for adults paddling. The "child" seat is of the traditional height for a lower, more reassuring position. Seats are arranged according to the number of persons on board, just in front of the diagrams printed on the floor: In front of the "2+1" diagrams (which remain visible) when there are 3 persons on board. In front of the "2" diagram where there are 2 on-board.
After-sales service
After-sales parts are available for Itiwit kayaks. Please visit the workshop of a Decathlon store to purchase or order them. Inflatable base: reference 830 92 65 Left bladder: reference 830 92 64 Right bladder: reference 830 91 67
Inflation Recommendations & Precautions
First inflate the base, then a stopper, then 50% of the second stopper. Check the general position of the chambers. Then inflate it all fully without exceeding 0.1 bar (1.5 PSI). DO NOT OVER-INFLATE! Correctly close all valves. Install the 3 diverts, except when using in rivers where there is not much water. In the case of EXCESSIVE HEAT, deflate the kayak a little outside of the water to avoid over pressure which could damage the kayak.
Maintenance Instructions
In the case of damage to one of the side chambers, open the stopper across its length using the zip, remove the chamber. The base cover can be removed using the velcro. Case 1: the hole is located on the stopper, you can use the repair kit to stick a patch. Case 2: the hole is located along a seam; contact the DECATHLON workshop service to exchange the faulty bladder (2-year warranty).
Glide performance
Patented bow shape: the front and back ends provide good glide. The V-shaped front of the kayak enables fluid entry into the water.
Easy to disassemble and fold
New carry bag for 2016 backpack type bag for short journeys. New fins for 2016 with easy clips. Deflate the kayak by unscrewing the 3 "boston" valves. Fold the side stoppers downwards. Roll starting with the opposite side to the valves to drive out the air. Place the rolled up kayak in the main compartment of the bag. Close the zip using the fastening strap.
