This black strip, along with the screws, serves as a base for mounting a dedicated fender, which protects the dust seals and legs from mud. Kit components: The strip shown in the photo has three holes (a larger center one, two smaller side ones) and two matching screws, which is typical of Fox accessory mounting kits.
