The combination of stable yet flexible fibreglass poles, a tough, waterproof flysheet and the very simple pitching system makes the Kambo 4 a great all-round choice. It’s ideal for families who like to keep things uncomplicated and just as handy for a group of friends heading off to the next music festival together.
Compact and well thought out Kambo 4 is a compact, cleverly designed tunnel tent with plenty of practical details. Whether it’s a family break on a campsite or a weekend with friends at a festival, Kambo 4 is a reliable companion and a real eye-catcher.
Easy to pitch The tunnel shape is not only stable and secure, it also makes pitching and packing away quick and straightforward. With just 3 fibreglass poles, the tent is up in no time and ready for any outdoor adventure.
Noticeable darkening In the area of the dark sleeping cabin, the outer tent is finished with a silver coating. While this doesn’t reach the full blackout level of skandika Sleeper technology, it still creates a noticeably darker sleeping area and helps you enjoy a more restful night.
Flexible with 3 entrances The tent has three entrances: one on each long side and one at the front. Each door can be turned into a shade-giving sun canopy using the 2 supplied steel poles, or simply rolled to the side when you want it fully open.
Direct access to the cabin One of the side entrances offers direct access to the sleeping cabin. This allows excellent ventilation and keeps the inner tent feeling fresh. All doors to the sleeping cabin are fitted with mosquito netting to keep insects out.
Multi-function living area The front area works perfectly as a cosy living space, with room for camping furniture such as a table and chairs, or for storing bags and supplies. It’s the ideal spot to eat together, play games or plan the next day’s activities.
Window with blackout option The large side window is half clear PVC at the bottom and half mosquito mesh at the top, so you still get daylight and airflow even when the doors are closed. All windows can, of course, be darkened when you want more privacy or less light.
Versatile use The sleeping cabin has its own sewn-in groundsheet, and a separate groundsheet is supplied for the living area. You can also use Kambo 4 completely without cabin and floor as an open, airy play space for the kids in the garden.
Practical extras Like all skandika tents, Kambo 4 scores not only with its look but also with plenty of useful extras: organiser pockets inside the cabin, a hook for hanging a camping lamp and a sturdy carry bag for transport and storage.
