36 degrees and getting hotter? The only answer is a shady spot where you can actually enjoy the summer. The skandika sun sail is a light, airy and flexible shade solution that also adds a stylish touch to camping trips, garden parties or days at the beach – it’s a real eye-catcher wherever you pitch it. It can be used almost anywhere and is ideal for shading a larger area.
Versatile You can set up the sun sail exactly how you like. There are countless ways to pitch and fix it – as an extra canopy over a tent, over a hammock, as a simple shade for a picnic, or even as a focal point for a garden party. Wherever you need shade, the sail adapts.
Weatherproof Thanks to the PU-coated outer fabric with a 3,000 mm water column and taped seams, the sun sail is fully waterproof. That means you can stay outside with friends and family even when the weather turns, and still enjoy the fresh air under a dry, protected roof.
Sun protection On hot summer days, cool shade is important – but so is proper UV protection. The silver-coated inner side of the sail absorbs 98% of harmful UV radiation and provides a high protection rating of UPF 50+, helping to shield your skin from the sun.
Comfortable to take along With its handy carry bag, the sun sail is easy to bring along for holidays, camping trips and even backpacking tours. Thanks to the compact pack size, it fits neatly into your gear and can be stored in the bag when not in use until the next sunny day arrives.
Tear-resistant All guy points are double-stitched and reinforced with brass eyelets, and extra-strong stitching is used at every corner. This prevents tearing and ensures the sail stays stable and reliable, even in stronger winds and more demanding conditions.
Easy to pitch The included nylon guy lines and weather-resistant aluminium pegs provide a secure hold, even in softer or damp ground. You can tension the sail between trees or posts, or anchor it directly to the ground – set-up is straightforward and quick.
