The new Comp Skyline saddle retains the ergonomic curve that supports the sit bones and the generous cutout that relieves perineal pressure from the original Skyline, but modernizes it with a new construction for greater durability, improved aesthetics, and a lighter weight.
Thanks to a unique manufacturing technology that bonds the saddle pad to the base without visible stitching, glue, seams, or staples, the new Comp Skyline is now waterproof, longer-lasting, and lightweight. The saddle padding is made from a new polyurethane material that absorbs 30% more shock than traditional foam, reducing rider fatigue.
Like the original, the new Comp Skyline features a dual-axis curved shape that provides a rise towards the rear of the saddle and a slight lift at the nose. This shape is ideal for riders who lack flexibility and want more support, while also offering a good riding position for those who demand a good balance of performance and comfort. Another highlight of the Skyline is Ritchey's revolutionary patented Vector Wing technology, which helps eliminate hot spots by dissipating pressure more evenly for all-day comfort, no matter where your pedal strokes take you - road, gravel, trails and beyond.
