Exceptional Performance
8AVIO ULTIMATE is engineered to deliver high-level road performance across every terrain, from fast flat sections to demanding climbs and confident descents. Drawing on more than twenty years of Italian engineering expertise, it combines lightweight carbon construction, aerodynamic efficiency, and endurance-oriented comfort into a versatile, race-ready platform. Precise handling, efficient power transfer, and excellent high-speed stability make the 8AVIO ULTIMATE an ideal all-round road bike for ambitious riders.
The carbon monocoque frame is produced using advanced Double Mold Monocoque Technology (DMMT), a process that increases structural strength by up to 20% without adding weight. Careful carbon fiber orientation ensures stiffness is applied exactly where it’s needed. In size M, the raw frame weighs just 985 g, offering a clear advantage when climbing, accelerating, and maintaining speed over long distances.
Aerodynamic, Integrated Design
Aerodynamic efficiency is enhanced through a clean, fully integrated design. The IRC (Internal Routing Cables) system routes cables internally for improved airflow and a sleek, modern appearance. The Ultimate Carbon Aero seatpost with integrated clamp further reduces drag while maintaining comfort and compliance for long rides.
At the front, a 1.5″ integrated head tube is paired with a tapered carbon fork weighing just 390 g. Together with the PressFit 86 mm bottom bracket, this configuration delivers sharp steering precision, excellent torsional stiffness, and outstanding stability during high-speed riding, cornering, and descents.
Drivetrain & Braking
8AVIO ULTIMATE is equipped with the Shimano 105 24-speed disc drivetrain, delivering smooth, precise, and reliable mechanical shifting for consistent performance in all conditions. The compact Shimano 105 50/34 crankset combined with an 11–36 cassette provides a wide gear range, making steep climbs manageable while retaining efficiency for fast-paced riding on the flats.
Braking is handled by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, offering powerful, predictable stopping performance and excellent modulation. The 160 mm front and 140 mm rear rotors ensure confidence and control, even during aggressive riding and long descents.
Wheels & Components
Rolling performance is provided by GPM 825/5 aluminum tubeless-ready wheels (30/23 profile, 12 mm thru-axle), designed for durability, responsiveness, and reliable everyday performance. Vittoria Zaffiro Foldable 700×28 tires deliver smooth rolling efficiency, enhanced comfort, dependable grip, and long-lasting wear.
The cockpit features a Deda RHM Zero 2 DCR handlebar paired with a Raxe RS Alu Light DCR stem, ensuring a comfortable riding position while maintaining compatibility with internal cable routing. Rider comfort is completed by the Ultimate Carbon Aero seatpost and the Selle Italia X Model saddle, designed to support sustained efforts and long-distance rides.
Pedals are not included.
