This is the flagship model of the surf casting concept PENN® Tidal. These blanks have been years in development. By working with some of the best experts in Europe, the elite series has been created by the elite, to offer you the best possibilities you can find in a surf rod. To achieve this, PENN® had to push the limits further than ever before. The ultra-light blank is made with a combination of 50T carbon and with the addition of a multidirectional triaxial structure, PENN® has managed to create a rod with incredible recovery speed, which truly translates into casting distance. The rod has undergone countless testing sessions - both in the lab and in the field. The combination of Fuji's lightweight stainless steel LR type frames, fitted with durable and lightweight Fuji Alconite guides, creates a rod that is not weighed down by heavy guides. For these rods with lowrider guides, you have 2 tip options. A short tip for super sensitivity to indicate bites even at long casting distances and a long tip, which is stiffer and perfect for challenging conditions in rough weather. The Fuji DPSSD reel seat is your guarantee of quality throughout. The rods come in a soft fabric bag for the best protection during transport.
