Apple scented resin coated snaffle bit recommended for training and dressage. Horze is a quality bit, softer than most single snaffle bits used in English riding. A widely used bit with stainless steel rings and barrel is lined with a high tech non-toxic resin on the barrel, making it smooth, soft, flexible and pleasant for your horse's mouth. Irreplaceable, the apple taste encourages young and old horses to accept the bit. It will not upset your horse's palate, but on the contrary, will promote relaxation. It is one of the most popular mouthpieces for training young horses or for straightening older horses. Made of a synthetic resin (apple flavour/fragrance) covering the stainless steel frame. Like most snaffle bits used in English riding, the primary action of this bit is at the bars, in the mouth. The break in the barrel causes the bit to bend into a nutcracker while rising inside the horse's mouth, putting pressure on the tongue and palate.Features:Promotes relaxationApple flavor that promotes acceptanceSynthetic resin bits are softer in the mouth than regular all-steel bits.Suitable for all riding disciplines and stylesIdeal for young horses but also for older horses that do not accept, or no longer accept, the bitFlexible and softNon-toxicDurableWill not hit the horse's palateTechnical description:Thickness: 23 mm.Made of synthetic resin (apple taste/scent) covering the stainless steel frame.* Contains nickel.Thickness: 18 mm.Washing instructions:Always clean the bit after each use. Detach from bridle and soak in warm water. Use a small brush to loosen residue. How it works:Like most English bits, this bit's main effect is to exert a direct action on the horse's mouth. The snaffle bit has an effect called nutcracker, when it is in the animal's mouth, by putting pressure on the tongue and palate of the horse.
