HOW TO TELL A CARBON TIP FROM A FIBREGLASS TIP
Carbon tips are completely black at the press-fit base, whereas fibreglass tips are translucent.
FEATURES OF A FIBREGLASS TIP.
A fibreglass tip is very flexible, which makes it very sensitive to bites but also to weather conditions such as wind, etc. It is therefore best suited to fishing difficult fish in calm weather conditions (no wind).
