FOR WHICH ATHLETES?
The ISO powder is designed for all sports enthusiasts (triathletes, marathon runners, trail runners, etc.) exercising for less than 3 hours, in training as well as racing. Please note: one dose of ISO, i.e. 38g, must be diluted in 500ml of water. As a general rule of thumb, we recommend that you drink one bottle per hour of exercise. Each person knows how they perspire and adapts their hydration accordingly.
A PRODUCT DESIGNED FOR ENDURANCE WORKOUTS
An isotonic drink contains the same level of carbs, sodium and water as your blood. This makes it easier for your body to absorb it, thereby improving hydration. In the ISO drink, there are also:
- vitamins B2 and B6, which help to combat muscle fatigue
- vitamin C which helps to protect your cells from oxidative stress (cramps)
- minerals to compensate for the losses resulting from perspiration.
SOME INFORMATION ON DOSING
If the level of carbs, sodium and water in your drink is greater than that of your blood, your drink is hypertonic rather than isotonic, which promotes dehydration.
In the opposite case – the ISO powder is too diluted – it is hypotonic and stimulates hydration to the detriment of absorbing the nutrients. Indeed, you can use this dose when it's very hot so that you can drink more, without using up too much powder!
WHAT IS THE EFFECT OF ISO AND ISO+?
• ISO drink is suitable for exercise lasting 1 to 3 hours. We recommend consuming a 38 g dose in 500 mL of water.
• ISO+ is suitable for exercise lasting 3 hours or more. We recommend that you consume 60 g of carbohydrates per hour of exercise, i.e. one 38 g dose of ISO+ should be dissolved in 500 mL of water, and supplemented by a gel or a bar.

MOVING TOWARDS THE SPORTS NUTRITION OF THE FUTURE: RESPONSIBLE, MORE NATURAL AND ALWAYS TASTY!
Aube, an ingredients engineer:
"Our decisions regarding the choice of ingredients are nothing to do with regulations. We base things on studies pointing the finger at additives that are controversial from ethical, environmental and health perspectives. We're gradually moving towards a simple process. Ideally, we want to design local products that are as natural as possible. They will have a more rustic flavour, but it's a habit we should get into!"
